7,000 words of introspection and intensity... currently in progress.

Yeah, I'm definitely talking about a new chapter for Volume 2.

It's been on the back burner for a month, but I've been reworking it for the past few days, hoping you'll like the result.
I think this is the longest chapter I've ever written... I'm not sure, but it certainly is.

For all the effort that went into this, a vote, a comment, or anything at all would make me happy. Really.

Anyway, I always enjoy writing, and as I always say: it always comes back around.

          	See you soon,

I'd like to address the "break" I'm taking from Volume 2:

I'm still searching for coherent ideas for the plot, while simultaneously reworking my writing style, which is constantly evolving. There may be some inconsistencies, differences in writing style, and minor inconsistencies that I'm still correcting in Volume 1.

Nevertheless, I'm working hard on Volume 2, hoping the result will be worth it.

          Thank you for being here.

          See you soon,

I'm not dead. I believe.

I'm taking a break from volume 2, but I promise to come back.

However, the progress is slower because the fact that I don't have any comments, practically, or votes just tends to demotivate me, and to wonder if what I write is still of good quality, you know?
It may be selfish, but that's the way it is.

But, I hope to see you soon.

(SPOILER FOR VOLUME 1/2—IF YOU'RE CURRENTLY READING IT, IGNORE THIS POST.)

          Hi.

I've been thinking about something recently, and I just have to share it with you.

While I've been reworking the writing for Volume 1 of WMLA and developing Volume 2 of WWBA, I've been quietly thinking about the beginning of a potential Volume 3.

And, to be completely honest with you, sometimes you have to know when to stop, to seal the final fate of our characters.

I think it would be a mistake to consider a Volume 3 in a context as sensitive as that of Volumes 1 and 2.

And, even though in Volume 1 the ending can be considered canon because, in its final context, Monika achieved her goal (the liberation of the literature club) I didn’t want it to be that "simple" by abandoning all the “lore” and "psychological" aspects of the characters.

The internal struggle each character faces deserved more depth. More explanation. More complexity.

Volume 2 will be there for that.

I officially consider the end of Volume 2 to be the definitive conclusion to the development and growth (or lack thereof...) of the literature club.

However, if you have any questions, doubts, or concerns (regardless of whether they're about Volume 2 or the development of Monika, Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki) please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to answer them.

I know that Volume 2 took a rather surprising plot turn regarding Monika's development (dysphoria, body change), but I think it's a theme I'd like to continue exploring (and because the lore and the ending of Volume 1 force me to address it).
That said, I've never really heard your thoughts on this, so if you'd like to tell me what you think, please do. I might be able to provide more explanation regarding this choice.

          Thanks for reading.
I think I've said just about everything now, though I can't go any further for obvious reasons; I’m thinking of those who've followed me this far, who deserve a bit of context and some answers.

          See you soon,

Hi everyone.

Work on volume 2 is going pretty well. However, I'd like to talk about the Natsuri ship.
I have a few questions about it, and I'll use your answers to determine the best choice to make.

During the first volume, there were a few Natsuri scenes. To be honest, it was just a test because I wanted to know if I could develop chemistry between the two and if I could interpret their personalities, their dynamics, and how they function.

Should I reintroduce scenes between the two, or even develop a lore to take it further?
Would you like to see this in volume 2 (which, I remind you, focuses primarily on Sayori and Monika), or would you prefer to wait for a “special” volume (once volume 2 is finished) in which I could develop a whole new lore for the Natsuri ship?

That's what I'm getting at. What do you think? I'd be curious to hear your opinion.

          Have a nice day/night,

I am happy to announce that I have finished the following five chapters of volume 2 of DDLC (WWBA)!
I went through several rewrites of these chapters, so it took me longer than expected.
Starting tonight, I should be able to post the fourth chapter (state 3).
          Stay tuned.

          See you soon,

Hello.

I'm still alive. As I said, the second volume is taking a little longer to develop, which is normal.

However, please feel free to leave a vote or a comment. It's important to me. Do you like the beginning of the second volume or not? I'm still thinking about where to go from here.

In any case, I'm not forcing you to do anything. I just hope that the second volume will live up to the first.

Take care and see you soon,
