So this was requested from Ellie on Enjin’s ff.
In this essay I will discuss a very popular social debate question, which is: ‘Which was first? The chicken or the egg?’ I will be taking in consideration two possibilities. One will be based of the Big Bang theory whereas the other will be viewed through a religious perspective. This essay will be mostly written based off of my own opinions and personal experiences/knowledge, which I have collected throughout my seventeen years of living.
The first possibility I will be discussing on this platform is throughout the Big Bang theory. We all know that the organism, we know of today, had a very long journey. The journey began (if we skip a bit because I don’t want to go into detail that much) from a cell. The cell slowly transformed into a fish, later into a lizard and then into a predecessor of the chicken we know of today. So if we take in account Darwin’s theory of evolution, we get that the egg came first before the actual chicken.
The second possibility will be viewed from the religious perspective, more specifically - Christianity. In all of my honesty, I am not well educated in religions so I apologise in advance for my ignorance and for potentially accidentally discriminating religious beliefs. I’ve learned about Christianity one thing and that is that God is the creator of everything. Basically what I want to say by this is that he perhaps created first the chickens which they then laid the eggs.
In summary: in Big Bang theory the egg was first, however in the religious perspective the chicken was first.
Thank you for reading my short essay.
