@LukeBraniff I am not entirely sure because the sphinx monsters are absolute dogshit they rely on the pyramid of light being destroyed to be summoned and their 3rd monster requires both to be destroyed to be summoned at all and even then there are still a lot of ways to remove them hell summoning sorcerer of dark magic and blue eyes shining dragon are more doable that the sphinx especially shining dragon because all you need is fusion armament to reveal dragon master knight which then summons blue eyes ultimate dragon and then tribute that to summon shining dragon and for sorcerer of dark magic with a dark magician deck that uses eternal soul it is very easy to get the 2 dark spellcasters you need to summon it on the field and even if dark magician and dark magician girl are in the graveyard eternal soul combined with magicians navigation can bring them both back really easily plus if you have dark magician the dragon knight it protects both eternal soul and magicians navigation and because its name becomes dark magician on the field and the graveyard it is protected from card effects by eternal soul and even if someone destroys it by battle because its name becomes dark magician in the graveyard eternal soul can bring it right back and because of that getting rid of eternal soul is really hard to do and with all that you can easily get the materials needed to summons sorcerer of dark magic and with red eyes dark dragoon being unbanned now it is even easier to protect it same with dragon master magia since summoning it is easy in a dark magician deck since all you need is fusion armament to bring out blue eyes ultimate dragon and use any of the fusion options available in a dark magician deck to summon dragon master magia so all of these things compared to the sphinx monsters make them look like absolute garbage

@BrimstoneSulfur it’s not a bad thought, however, a light monarch would draw too much attention in my opinion. But I will save that idea if I can think of anything else.

@DF77777 I haven’t gotten an update or seen anything for an update for it. 

That one may be discontinued and remade since most of it doesn’t really sync with the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh. It’s more along the lines of the start of Battle City.
