There are some editing issues. You don’t capitalize your I’s. It looked like auto-correct may have caused you some issues as well. Doorway is one word. Ajar is one word. Also when you introduce Louise she is shortly called Loui by Samantha. It makes sense for close friends to have nicknames for each other. A couple paragraphs later Samantha calls Louise Lou. I would stick with one nickname for Louise. Especially so early in the story. Again, that may have been auto-correct changing what you typed, turning Loui into Lou. Keep up the good work!
