Stories, I believe, are the most astonishing way to connect to life itself. 
I've lived in the stories in my head my entire life and have recently started to live in the real world. Arts like reading and writing have given me a way to connect to people on a more natural and deeper level. I write to free the creativity trapped in my mind and I hope by reading mine, or the many other amazing stories on here, that you can feel the rawness of human life like I do.
