"'About five years into my writing career, I confided in Shannon that being an author was no longer bringing me joy. I told her that as my platform grew, so did the number of duties, expectations, demands, favors and requests I received. I admitted that I commonly felt stressed, depleted and used. (This is how I feel about all the comic book artists advertising on my page. Just stop please, all you're doing is stressing me out and zapping my life of joy!_Lumna10)
"'I just want to write messages that help people feel seen and less alone in their struggles—but so much else is expected of me and those other things are contaminating my joy and purpose.'"_Rachel Macy Stafford. (Same Rachel, I feel the same way as a writer. Newsflash Wattpad followers, I did not join Wattpad to become popular nor did I expect my books to be so popular it took years for people to reach my books and I am still okay with that. Less popular a book starts out the harder it is to be copied onto another website. I am in the writing hobby because it is my Dreamer Girl and I do it for fun; it helps me calm myself down. I never looked for views never asked for comments. And I don't ask for follow backs because I believe a person should have their own choice to be interested or not. But comic book advertisements when I've repeatedly said no are just distressing nuisances._Lumna10.
