Headlock by Imogen Heap makes me so happy. I’m being so serious no other song has ever made me feel this way. I don’t even have to think about Mouthwashing, it just hits so hard. The noises, the beat, the lyrics, the vocals. It’s so perfect in every way. I could get the link to this song on Spotify engraved in my skull. When I first heard it, I thought, “Oh, it’s just a song. How good can it really be?” And now that I’ve heard it a few times, I start uncontrollably shaking and moving my hands and kicking my feet whenever I hear the main part, the one everyone knows, “Monitoring you / Like machines do / You still got it, I’m just keeping an eye”. I genuinely cannot believe my addiction to Mouthwashing has introduced me to my new favorite song. It is unhealthy how obsessed I am with this song. It makes me happier than anything else in the universe. I don’t even know why, but it means so much to me. If I caught anyone hating on this masterfully crafted wonderful song, it would be on sight.
