After the Fall – my mini-poetry project – is finally complete! I’m especially proud of the final piece, which I just posted today. I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback, so please drop a comment after reading it.

          I was waiting for an update from the contest publisher about my manuscript. It didn't make the cut. It still needed a bit of rework. The thing is, this is the second part of my re-entry to Wattpad and I cannot wait to publish the revised version here!

 New Piece Alert for AFTER THE FALL! 
          
          Life still feels just as confusing as it did when I was younger.  That’s the one thing I’ve realized while writing this brand-new piece. The "Never-Would Tree"  is an allegory for what it’s like living in a cookie-cutter world, where fitting in is the norm. In this piece, I’m opening up about the vulnerability of being part of groups but never quite feeling like you belong. ‍️
          
          It’s for anyone who’s ever been included but still felt on the outside. Stay tuned for more! ✨

I am so in love with this book! Given that it has tons of mature content, I still like the concept! Maybe it's because I'm familiar with the bits and pieces of history behind this story but also for the bravery of Eliana.
          
          This is a story about power struggles and how a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do in order to survive.
          
          It reminds me of the fictional Matildis Maud and her cousin (although I forgot what the book title was).
