High School Horror, Urban Myths, and the Stories I Never Got to Tell…
I'm writing DAGA to commemorate my high school years—in all their sadness and glory. They weren’t glamorous, and they weren’t always kind, but they were real. And in a typical Filipino public high school, that’s more than enough material to grow from—and write about.
Just like any place filled with young minds, school can be both a dream and a nightmare. We had our share of ghost stories, school curses, and the kind of drama that makes you wonder if you're living in a teleserye. From abandoned bathroom stalls to haunted artifacts—I’ve heard them all.
So now, I’m turning those whispered stories and imagined horrors into fiction. DAGA is the story that’s been haunting the back of my mind for years. I’m writing it not just to release it from my mental jail, but also to see if all my late-night crime show bingeing finally paid off.
I still consider myself a work-in-progress as a writer, but I’d love it if you’d give DAGA a shot once more chapters are up. Chapter 2 is in the works!
