Jen wanted to forget it all.
She wanted to forget how her father hanged himself.
How her mother jumped out of the window.
How her entire family was dead.
She felt guilty for it. She was an annoying 10-year-old in her thoughts; she drove them to do it.
While in a deep depression one day, she picked up something as old as civilization.
Religion.
She bought a bible and read through every book in every translation and attended services at as many local churches as she could.
She wanted to become a nun.
13 years since her parents died, she was ready.
Or so she thought.
When she took those vows, saw herself in those robes, and listened to herself speak, she realized.
She will never fall in love.
So she moved from Arkansas to Vatican City in hopes of avoiding any men she might end up falling for.
But that hope was crushed when she met her.
Carmella Morgan, seasoned demonolater, goth girl, and girl on a mission.
A mission to uncover secrets of tyranny and oppression within the Vatican.
Her group, the Order of Satan, sent her there to gather intel for their next big ritual.
But upon meeting Jen, she found out that both of their missions were now disrupted.
Jen could never reveal her love for Carmella to the public, especially if the Catholic Church were in earshot.
And Carmella could never confess her love, as either of them doing it would have them both lose all credibility.
So they live in secret.
And everything is okay until Jen's angels begin stirring when in contact with Carmella's demons.
Soon, they are on a mission to protect the secrecy of their love life as Seraphim and Kings of Hell try to bring it out and bring them down...
