Luna Lightfoot

I’ve added a short scene to the recent Part 127. 
          
          Originally, I had Kazuko give Shadow Moon aura concealing gems FOR the vampire island journey. I decided to loose that part, however, since the vampires were going to uncover their true identity regardless, and they don’t sense auras as well as the angels; it makes more sense to introduce them for the Angel arc instead.
          
          When I wrote this chapter originally, I didn’t include this part of Echo asking Kazuko for the items since I wasn’t sure if they’d use them still. And now I’m finally drafting up the next part of the plot, I’ve decided that they absolutely would need them! And so, here’s this extra scene to fit with the soon to be written Angel arc! 
          
          Angel arc - a little context: 
          Sorry updates are taking a while. The angel arc is a hard one to sort out because it’s actually the only missing plot I have in the storyline. Originally, this arc happens after loads of OTHER events that I have as draft chapters. Years ago, I reorganised the plot, drafting tons of chapters until they could fit into the new storyline. And now I finally have to write up this Angel arc so that I can publish the many many chapters that have been written up, ready, for years. 
          
          It’s taken a while to piece together the new structure, and I’ve honestly been avoiding this arc because of how much more lore and plot I have to consider first. I need to ask myself what I want out of this arc… what the characters will find out, how it will challenge them and what the results will be. And the biggest thing… I have to decide HOW THE ANGEL WORLD WILL WORK!!! Yup. To write this new arc I literally have to decide how an Angel world would work in my story, my world. What does it look like? How does it function? How does it link to the existing rules of my world? 
          
          So, in conclusion, bear with me :)

New scene in Part 54 of The Demons of Shadow Moon!! 
          
          While I’m trying to organise my ideas, I’ve realised I really need to start settling and implementing them. For example, one idea was that Midnight, before being introduced to Shadow Moon, would be out hunting other vampires who came to Lucea. So now I’ve implemented a scene to demonstrate that! 
          
          There are other scenes, particularly involving Alex, the florist, that I’ve written up and want to implement in the book, but I’m struggling to find a place at the moment. They scenes reveal some key info so I need to decide when in the plot it’s best to reveal it. So look out for more updates as I dive more into potions and vampires! 
          
          In other news, I still haven’t set on a design for Midnight. Let me know if anyone has some ideas!

New chapter 70.5 announcement!! Even though Uni is hectic, I couldn't help but think about Luna recently and how she's really affected by [someones] death. Suddenly, someone she's cared for has been taken away, yet again. All she wants is to make the world a better place, and yet she keeps facing these horrible losses. I wanted to dive deeper into her feelings with a new chapter...

Hi everyone! Just a reminder that I’ve updated parts 62 and 63 of The Demons of Shadow Moon! Some extra scenes have been created to fix the pacing and address some characters emotions! 
          
          I’ve also adjusted the long scene of “hey we need to find eclipse right now, wait distraction, but about Eclipse- another distraction- hey there’s someone trying to kill us so maybe we should focus- nope another distraction!!” … yeah, basically, the whole scene was very laid back considering the steaks! It still has the funny silly parts, but the scene is arranged a bit better now to create a nice flow 
          
          Let me know what you guys think of the changes!

Good story, It's better than my story! 

ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Chapter 108.5 of Shadow Moon is new!!!
          
          This chapter is a scene that originally was in the book way earlier on, however, was taken out temporarily because it revealed a plot twist which I decided would be better revealed further on in the book. 
          
          The characters in the scene are Shadow Moon’s enemy. I had planned to wait until the enemy‘s identity is revealed to add this scene as a flashback. But I kept coming across plot holes where the identities were still obvious before the reveal (e.g. a character, like Charlie, has seen their identity so could just tell Shadow Moon who it is….). I also started thinking that the enemy is clever, so wouldn’t foolishly reveal their identity to all these characters because of how connected they are to Shadow Moon (e.g. Kata). 
          
          At last, I came up with a solution. Since the enemy is established to know illusion magic as they created a certain character (no spoilers), then why couldn’t they just create disguises for themselves while they do their dirty work? And so, that’s what’s happening in this new chapter! Instead of Kata blatantly talking to two established characters about heartlessly hurting Shadow Moon, the characters appear completely different and share different names.
          
          I figured this is also what they’d do when they’re making deals with the vampires so they don’t rat them out to the other demons.
