I’m trying to write oneshots right now and desperately failing, lol! Turns out I suck at writing anything but medical-related stuff. 
          
          Injuries? I’m your girl! Accurate hospital scenes? Yup, I can do those too! Angst? Uh……we’ll circle back to that. Heh, might have to expand my writing skills if I want to write the way I’d like to. 
          
          Oh, all of my OCs also end up with some sort of challenge or disability. Whoops. I excel at writing autistic characters without meaning to, I get halfway through a one-shot and realize, oh shit, I just made another autistic character. Why am I like this

          I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY AAAAAH-

Hi humans! 
          I never announce things, but today I’m too excited not to! I just had surgery to fix my tethered spinal cord, which was/is causing a ton of trouble for me. After a week in PICU, I’m finally home! Two days after surgery, I couldn’t sit up for more than ten minutes. Four days after, I rolled around the unit for the first time! (I was so terrified I’d accidentally get tangled in or roll over tubing, but it went awesomely!) Six days after, nothing through the IV anymore. Today, I pushed myself out of the PICU, no lines, monitors, or tubes! Right now I’m still in a fair bit of pain, and transferring in and out of chairs is hard, but I’m making progress! 
          
          I hope everyone is having a lovely day!
          
          (Just to clear any confusion, I use a wheelchair to get around, and PICU stands for pediatric intensive care unit. Somehow, I still qualify as a pediatric patient, but that’s lucky because my neurosurgeon ROCKS!
