@LunalaWaCa This is going to sound weird, but it doesn't feel strange to me at all! :D Sometimes you associate 'home' with a specific feeling of peace and comfort, and when it’s not there, it can feel really off. I’ve totally been there myself! Just like I used to get these huge waves of feeling at peace and 'at home' back when I wasn't even living in my home country anymore. ^^
So honestly, it makes total sense to me! (I’m actually pretty convinced that humans have this sort of higher sense of 'home' that goes beyond just a physical house. There are way too many people who don't feel at peace, who don't feel at home—just like you described—even when they're lying in their own bed. I think it was C.S. Lewis who said something like: if I'm hungry, it means food exists somewhere; if I'm thirsty, water exists; so if I feel like I'm never truly at home no matter where I am, it must mean there's a place I was torn away from, which is the very essence of what I'm looking for when I feel that emptiness. ^^)
