It depends on how long youve been uploading consistently, if youve only just started, you should keep on publishing, also, the most important thing in writing a story, you must constantly give in pieces of good plot, but not info dumping, you need to have a good start that hooks the reader early on, and preferably shouldn't be a story like every other, my story, forged beyond took forever to gain momentum, but when it did it went good, keep on working on it , you will do it, also I'm not so sure about what you mean by "checking your subjects"

As many of you know, I’m working on my first original novel. Unlike fanfiction, this story hasn’t been shared publicly yet, which makes getting honest feedback from readers even more important.

It's 2:13 AM, and I've got a Crazy Idea. Do you guys want a Part 2 for Forged Beyond? And I KNOW I just started a story, and one is incomplete, but if there's high demand for this, I might want to make a Part 2, because... The idea I have in mind is something NONE of you might expect.
