@LunarStarlet fr, like listen i get you worked hard but i’m broke, i shouldn’t need that much money just to read a fic on fucking wattpad. also like i feel like it really limits how many people read your work. there are so many people who will never be able to read your fic for the sole reason that they don’t have that cash to spare

and like. i get that people want to be compensated for their work. they deserve to be. but when readers who aren’t able to buy coins want to read your work, they can’t go to the library. they can’t just “borrow” it. it’s blocked off to them, in all ways, forever. it just doesn’t sit right w me ♀️
