All my life I have been afraid. I have been afraid to talk to my parents. I've been afraid to talk to my friends. I've been afraid of ever making it past this life of security I have been living. To graduate high school, to choose a career, to choose a college. You don't often get taught how to survive in this world. In school they teach you math and science and such. But they don't teach you how to pay your taxes, or street smarts once you leave home, or even how to pump gas or make coffee. No your parents have to teach you these things or you have to figure it out for yourself. I guess I am having a "midnight" crisis. I am just now seeing how unprepared I am for what lies ahead and feel like I need to get it off and out there.
