as it was raining cats and dogs, i couldn't get myself to look out of the window at the bookshop.
' great '
i thought to myself.
' i could make a bed out of all these books, that'll be fine right? if the lightnings won't stop showing, i'd bring out my inner self girl scout '
i chuckled at the idea formed inside my head but still, the curves of my face betrayed me into thinking everything would be alright as hesitation and nervousness was etched on it.
so i got myself to roam around a little much longer, carrying the paper bag containing the books i have bought. it sure felt heavy in my arms but surely, i was saved from having a drama by collapsing at the ground in just seeing again what's waiting for me outside.
' no thank you, i'd rather not to '
as my thighs and forearm felt burning, i decided to sit down at the corner of the fiction books isle, massaging my sore part of the body.
and then suddenly, someone decided to join my company. so i snapped my head at the person's direction before asking,
" uh, anything i could do for you that you couldn't do for me? "
