This is a version of Marty Robbins’s Running Gun That I made out of boredom :
I rode out of Fluffing city down south to Smutico,
I was running, dodging @Llisona, left the friend that I cared for so,
Far behind lay Fluffing city and the works that I had yearned,
80 reads on my pen marked the attention I had earned
Many times I sold my creative pen for my works to be read,
Till people began to hunt for the price on my head,
Couldn’t stand it any longer with the profile I’d had begun,
So I said goodbye to Reyna and became a redemptive one.
I rode into Fandomrillo as the profiles wrote in the west,
My thoughts in Fluffing city and the friend care about best,
I smiled and hugged her gently and then turned around to go,
Said I’d send for her to meet me when I reached old Smutico
I had barely published my work and put and had turned around,
When a Daring figure told me to get on the ground,
Said she knew about my fame and wanted to shoot me through my scalp and out my jaw,
Challenged by the Devil so I turned around to draw,
I knew someday I’d meet her for her hand like lightning flashed,
My own knife stayed in leather as her blade tore it’s path,
As my strength was slowly fading, I could see her walk away,
And I knew that where I lie today she too must lie someday
Now a crowd is slowly gathering but my eyes are growing dim,
And my thoughts returned to Reyna and the path of Redemption that I had planned,
Oh please won’t you tell her Myc
that she’s still the only one
But a women’s friendship is wasted when she cares for a redemptive one,
Redemptive one,
Redemptive one!
