Hello, everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on each of the characters so far. Where does everyone stand in your minds? I'd love to know your opinions, favorites, and overall impressions.
          
          I've written several more chapters, and I'm currently editing them for the upcoming weeks before they're published. While I work on those, I'd love to hear your feedback.
          
          I'm also curious about what makes this story stand out to you. Is there anything that feels different from other stories you've read? Whether it's the characters, the family dynamics, the pacing, the world-building, or something else entirely, I'd love to know what has kept you interested—and if there's anything you think could make the story even stronger.

Actually love this story
            I like that the reason they could hide was because of another family member 
            Usually its just kidnapping 
            And that the custody is split between her dad and dexter 
            I also like that Sofia is deaf and that might sound weird but it helps show different senarios with a disability and shows awareness 
            
            I do hope that nobody gets sole custody and that her dad and dexter become like brothers in a sense and that maybe dexter could move in with them when her mum passes (if she does pass)

@Lilimonn46 Hello! Yes, I completely understand, and I didn't take any offense. I would love to be able to post twice a week. While I do have a few extra chapters written, I don't currently have enough of a backlog to comfortably maintain that schedule. It's definitely something I'd like to work toward in the future.           Hello everyone!
          
          I’ve officially written a chapter from Dexter’s POV. The votes were actually pretty close, and I appreciate everyone who shared their opinions.
          
          I understand that, at the moment, Dex is... well, Dexter. But I am slowly opening him up as the story progresses. He’s never going to be the perfect uncle, just as none of my characters are going to be perfect. His role in the story is meant to be challenging, complicated, and sometimes frustrating. Personally, I like him because he’s different. He’s the kind of person who has his flaws and difficult moments, but when something truly needs to be done, you can count on him.
          
          His chapter will be Chapter 24. I considered posting multiple chapters back-to-back, but if I do that, there’s a good chance future updates won’t be as consistent. For now, I’d rather keep a steady schedule.
          
          Dexter will not change overnight. His growth is going to take time, and I hope that journey feels earned as the story continues.
