Lyn Horner is a yankee turned naturalized Texan. A lover of history, books, furry animals, and most of all her family, Lyn resides in Fort Worth, "where the west begins," with her husband and beloved cats. Trained in the visual arts, she worked as a fashion illustrator and art instructor. After quitting work to raise her children, she took up writing as a creative outlet. This hobby grew into a love of research and the crafting of passionate romances based on that research.
TEXAS DEVLINS, Lyn's award-winning western historical romance series, centers around a trio of Irish American siblings, each with a unique psychic talent. These books deliver fast paced action, rich historical detail, and sizzling romance.
WHITE WITCH (Texas Devlins, Book One) is an introductory novella focusing on Jessie Devlin's precognitive talent. It carries her, her older brother Tye and their father through the catastrophic Chicago Fire of 1871 and gives a hint of what's to come in the following books.
DARLIN' IRISH (Texas Devlins, Book Two) takes Jessie westward in search of the hero she has often seen in dreams and visions. Along the way, she encounters danger, adventure and a truly nasty villain.
DASHING IRISH (Texas Devlins, Book Three) stars Tye Devlin, an empathic hero burdened with grievous memories. He finds his match in a Texas cowgirl with a huge chip on her shoulder.
DEAREST IRISH (Texas Devlins, Book Four) features Rose Devlin, youngest of the three sibs, who has an ability to heal with her mind. She is coupled with a half-breed cowboy. Each hides a painful secret only love and a healer's magic touch can assuage.
For an intimate glimpse in Lyn’s life with kids, cats and her ever patient husband, read her photo-illustrated memoir, Six Cats In My Kitchen.
RESCUING LARA, book one in Lyn's new romantic suspense series, will be released on 12/26/14.

I'm designing the cover for Dearest Druid. As soon as it's done, I'll post it here along with an excerpt from the story. The book will be available sometime in April.View all Conversations
