After an lovrly conversation i had yesterday with someone i follow i want to ask your guys opinion on the matter.
He was saying Yuri anime suck and harem animesare better because he can't imagine himself being the protagonist since it's a she and it just doesn't fit into his idea of " Male Fantasy Genre " and quite frankly his idea of that is than an anime that has a kot or girls trying to mate with the make MC at any lossible time and a lot of Fanservice
So my question is what you guys think bout that ?
You guys prefer Harem animes over Yuri because if the same reasoning ?
For a different reason?
Or you guys think some Yuri animes are better than most Harem animes?

@Lyn_Sacae im going to say that both Yuri and Harem have their good points and bad points but it will mostly depend on taste now onething I feel is that Harem and Yuri are not the same thing so in my opinion he should have compared Yuri to Yaoi or normal straight anime which would make more sense as usually a harem consists of a male or female protagonist with a bunch of male or female love interest.

@ PhantomMaster_5 i also prefer Yuri cuz of that, thou i have to say there are some good hatem onee as well, but still it's nit better than Yuri, which there woukd be more Yuri animes thou

@Lyn_Sacae I think Yuri is better than 95% of harem animes with a male lead, because it actually feels real most of the time and it's sweet. In harem anime where the protag is useless, pale unlikable character you can have a waifu from it
