Before 2012, I never used to be an avid reader. I used to start books and would take anywhere from 3-6 months to even finish them, and even then, that was a rarity. It wasn't until the beginning of last summer when a friend lent me a copy of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' that I realized how much I enjoyed reading and had been missing out. Ever since then, I have become a total romance book addict. Goodreads has become my best friend and worst enemy when it comes to that. I love books that really get your blood boiling and draw out a lot of emotions. Contemporary Romance and Chick Lit have quickly become my favorite genres to read.

I love to discuss books and get different perspectives from people who have read the same books. Most people hate hangovers but I love having book hangovers. I think if a book can provoke so much emotion and thought out of me it easily gets a top rating.
