I would like to make everyone aware of what will be happening during Pride Month this year.

Recently, users of 4Chan created this thing called 'Operation Pridefall.' During this event, the people of 4Chan will spam graphic and sensitive content on all social media. These people will also attempt to attack and harass members and supporters of the LGBT+ Community in real life. From what I've heard, they're be mainly attacking Twitter and Instagram, but its better to stay off of all socials rather than risk watching something that may scare you.

Here are the steps you should take to be safe during this :
          1. Turn off DMs. If you have friends online, try making it so that only people who've friended you can message you.
          2. Avoid going outside unless absolutely necessary.
          3. Avoid anyone with the numbers 88 and 1488 in their accounts, bios, usernames, etc. These are being used by the 4Chan people.
          4. Do NOT open any links sent by anonymous people. They might be links to the graphic/sensitive content.
          5. If you can, please avoid the internet all together. Things are going to get harsh, and we need to make sure no one gets hurt.

No one deserves to get hurt

          Please

          News by Nina Probst

"The water of the Schlierach is freezing cold when a first grader breaks into the ice. His buddy can't help him. It's good that Maya Böttger (11) comes over and grabs it. An interview.

Miesbach - The sixth grader from the Miesbach grammar school doesn't hesitate for a second and helps the first grader. The father of one of the two boys finds their actions so admirable that he tells our newspaper about them. We spoke to the little heroine.

Maya, tell me: what exactly happened there?

Maya: I was on my way home from school and ran along the Schlierach. Then I saw the two boys walking on the ice. I told them to be careful and best get off the ice. But they didn't listen to me. And then one of them broke in.

          And you reacted immediately.

Maya: I slid down the slope and had to walk a bit over the ice. The boy wasn't very young anymore, so he wasn't deep in the water. I pulled him out right away. He was totally freezing.

          Were not you afraid?

Maya: No, I was just thinking about him, not me. I acted instinctively. And the other one just stood by and didn't know what to do.

That was really great. Then how did it go on?

Maya: Because his gloves were totally wet, I gave him mine. I didn't have anything else to dry with me. Then I wanted to accompany the two of them home, but then the mother of the one came to meet us. I told her not to scold him, but to bring her home quickly because of the cold. Then I went home - just a little detour.

Your parents are sure to be proud of you.

Maya: They were happy. And my little brother - who has now turned nine - thought I saved someone's life. But it wasn't really like that. I also told my German teacher about it. He said that maybe I could write my homework on it. We have to make a report there.
