@Amberblaze12 Many of the things listed are also applicable to other fictional writing!

@Amberblaze12 Ok! Firstly, if you are going to write a Warrior cat fanfiction, then read the source material extensively about society's habits, behavior, beliefs, and other stuff. Secondly, it is important to write an outline. An outline is basically the content you want to have in a particular chapter. If you want to have a decent plot in general, the first step is making it original. If the plot is about a Kittypet who trains superhard and gets bullied and becomes the leader of their clan is quite overused. And another thing to look out for: make the characters realistic. Nobody is perfect, and the characters shouldn't be perfect either, try balancing out the good and negative traits. Also, unless many of the characters have superpowers, try making the cats as down to earth as possible. I pray that no one has cats that can fly, time travel, or resurrect themselves infinitely unless specified otherwise. Fourthly, try making the cat designs realistic. Unlike Starkit, no cat is purple and has a perfect star shaped marking on their forehead. Next, you should try and give the villain an original motivation, it can’t be, “I’m evil for the sake of being evil.” In short, be original. Lastly, if you want to incorporate prophecies in the story make it cryptic, if you can’t think of a good prophecy, then you can edit your story to not include one. Thanks for reading! I’m sorry for not responding earlier.
