I dont care if anyone is listening but dear god I gotta say it. I just watched the season 4 finale of the magicians and dear fucking lord might baby jesus youve got to be fucking kidding me. You took the heart and soul of an amazing story, a relatable, flawed, queer charcter that godamn it fucking helped me and made him commit scuicide!!! That was your natural end!! First you drop a pile of steaming shit on queliot by having Q get with Alice without even thinking twice and then you kill him off to avoid conflict. Q was an representation of mental illness and sexuality and lonliness and fuck my copy of that book is fucking dodie yellow at this point and FUCK. You think people didnt need Quentin. Didnt need representation. You know what it stings so fucking bad because I see someone like me and you know how they end, they KILL THEMSELVES. THEY DONT GET A HAPPY ENDING. FUCK YOU SHOWRUNNER, WRITERS, ANYONE FUCKING INVOLVED. it would be one thing to bring him back next season, one thing to have him get sucked into the seam and be in need of rescue. For El to rescue him like he did for Alice, but no. Its all just bullshit because why the fuck not??? I know its just a show, but its a show, a book that has helped me through some dark shit, and queliot was helping my dad start to see queer relationships as a positive. My fucking father who i watch the show with so we can spend time together was just starting to accept a queer relationship, before he breathed a sigh of relif when Q kissed Alice, and he could view it as a bump in the road. You had something beautiful, and you fucked it up. The diffremce between a hero and a moron? ONE HUGE FUCKING TERRIBLE MISTAKE

And the reason was so stupid, they wanted the praise of not having a white male protagonist. Besides the fact he wasn't it allowed people who are white and or male to relate to him, and then sympathize with other groups that either Quentin or other characters were a part of. Such a collasal waste of potential

Seriously I'm mourning him like a friend because he was my representation. I related to his struggle so hard and just to learn that the people who wrote him feel once his arc was "complete" it would be a damn circle. The idea of a happy ending sustained me, instead we learned the world won't even do us the favor of killing us, you have to do that shit yourself. And people will only realize they care about you once your gone. Seriously fuck the showrunners

@THEDIE4 God me too! Im so nervous for how they will manage Quentin and Eliot as well! I feel like they will probably defeat the monsters but Everette or the Micalisters will kidnap them or something. That or we'll just be left on an awful cliff hanger!
