I JUST FOOKING REALIZED SOMETHING!!!
The Lightwood family crest is a torch and I used to watch (sometimes still do) Torchwood. A torch is a sorce of light so replace light with torch, BOOM, Torchwood. AND, John Barrowman has black hair and blue eyes and in the books, Alec has black hair blue eyes Also! Torchwood began sometime 2006 and the first TMI book came out in 2007 And I know Alec was based on a friend CC had but that doesnt mean she didnt get inspiration on something else to cause its not unsual to based an oc on a friend then get outside inspiration and mix them together. I know Im most probably reaching but DUDES! you dont know, my theory could be correct (probably not though so im gonna stop and eat now, bye!)
