Okay that's enough. I'm posting something I think readers on Wattpad should think about. Writers on Wattpad are only ever happy when they receive adoration. Look at writers like @Cfunk3 and @RKKelly who receive constructive criticism and improve and are thankful. They don't bash their readers all the time. They realize they are good and can be better and don't act martyred for it. Yes the whining authors are talented, yes their stories are interesting but if they can't take honest reviews and some unnecessarily negative ones, I don't know why they are on Wattpad. And then when you comment they come at you with their fangs bared and let their readers attack you as well because you spoke the truth. If they don't want comments then they shouldn't leave their a/n's. Writers say that they are bullied on Wattpad but what about readers? They threaten us with not updating, blackmail for votes and then they make Wattpad their personal whining board. Many writers with horrible grammar insult and abuse you when you point out their faults. If they didn't want feedback it should be written in capital letters at the very beginning so we don't waste our time on them.

I've had enough of writers thinking their the sh!t when they have no books on bookshelves in stores and bullying their readers. Spread the message if you agree.

@SaintlyScarlet Oh yes I have. Your story was different, because 1,I've rechecked it for updates over and over in the past year and so when the update was done and they didn't even have a 1 minute acquaintance, I was disappointed. Further since there was no note of why the story wasn't updated, how was I to know?
This particular rant was because I was targeted by the same writers for very rude comments when I pointed out something that sounded awkward. Why wasn't there a response when I said that I loved their story or I hope this character gets their happy ending? It's because most writers on Wattpad are only here for fame. They don't want to hear it if it's not adoring or or positive. I've had such a wonderful experience with few authors here who don't mind the way I nit pick or point out something awkward, and that's because they were/are the serious ones. So yes I posted this message here only after a lot of observation over more than 4 years.

@Lyricalprincess have you considered how you are responding to people? From personal experience, one of the comments you left on my book wasn't constructive at all. It was sarcastic and rude. Perhaps you didn't mean it that way, but that's how it came across. Beware of this when giving constructive criticism to other writers. I don't mind if people let me know if I've missed words or chose the wrong form. Grammatical errors occur with even the best writers. However, if someone says something with blatant disregard to my feelings that isn't particularly about the grammar of my story, I'm going to call them out on it. And like people always say, "don't dish it unless you can take it." It should also be noted I've never threatened with not updating or blackmailed for votes and I do agree that's inappropriate and that it only brings a false sense of security in one's ability as a writer and shows their hightened vulnerability at putting their thoughts out there for others to see.

Thank you for the comment, as you know by now i luv hearing from my readers, it always gives me a fresh perspective on things, I cant tell you how much i have grown as a writer by evolving and adapting my stories with what my readers want and especially when i agree with them. I crave honest constructive feedback above all else, sometimes it can be hard to take but i welcome it because i, more than anyone else know i have a lot of room for improvement, It is humbling when people take the time to write long comments, and i thank you sincerely for it. Have a lovely day:-)

Why is Wattpad telling me you can't interact with this user whenever I try to try replying to others comments?! This is making me frustrated. The watty app already sucks what with not notifying, not loading speedily, not registering comments... But अब तो हद ही हो गयी है।
