Hello Lovelies! 
          
          A little update on life at the moment:
          
          - Exciting news for the ONC ‘25, The Portals of Daera has been long listed! Which is super exciting and makes all the hard work I put into finishing it seem worth it :)  The current edition is up and completed for anyone who may have been following and interested to see how the story ends! I’m currently working on a separate document for the story to see if I can’t get it Watty ready for the summer, though there are a couple factors running into that for me as of right now.
          
          - One of the main factors? I’m 36 weeks pregnant and running out of steam haha, so I’m hopeful, but not pressuring myself to get a new draft edited and as bulletproof plot wise as I can by summertime. If any are interested, that new edition of the book would be coming this summer once the ONC has concluded (though I’ll also be in the throes of postpartum and motherhood so, definitely will have priorities elsewhere lol) 
          
          In the mean time, I also have other manuscripts that have been shelved for quite some time that I may look into bringing back out again. It may work or it may not, but I’m really discovering my passion and love for writing again which is something I wasn’t sure I’d get the chance to experience again. So I’m excited to see where this journey leads. 
          
          I hope you all are doing well and that the week has come to a kind end. I’m off to get my haircut soon and write some more fun little tales, sooooo

          Chapters 6 & 7 for the Portals of Daera are live for those who are following, though they do still need a lil polish  :) as the end of Round 3 for the ONC draws to its close, I’m hopeful to be able to finish my story and submit it in time for the judging period.

          I’m also incredibly grateful and stunned to say my entry was a Round Two Winner as well! So it really means a lot to know that this story has moved others as much as it has me throughout this journey. I’m honored with how far I’ve been able to make it and the accomplishments I’ve achieved. This is genuinely a story I feel proud to call my own and share with the world. 
          
          I hope this new week holds new beginnings for all of you, with good fortune and happiness :)

Hello Lovelies
          
          The fourth chapter for The Portals of Daera is live now if there are any of you who have been keeping up with it :) the fifth and sixth chapters should be accompanying it soon, as I’m working on keeping on schedule to be able to submit for the final round of the ONC’s. It’s been a long time since I was able to set aside the time to qualify for a Round 3 in this competition, so I’m excited for the challenge of producing something I’m proud of in such a short amount of time.

Hello Lovelies, 
          
          I hope the week has treated you all well :) it’s been a surprisingly happy one for me as my ONC 2025 entry “The Portals of Daera” was selected as a Round One Winner! In the four or five previous years that I’ve entered I’ve never been able to achieve this milestone, so it’s been exciting to see that my story this year has been able to excite and draw people in :) 
          
          In honor of winning this award, I was really inspired to finish up Ch. 3, so that chapter is now live if you’d like to check it out and let me know what you think. Things have gotten a lot more intense for Arya in the last two chapters, so you might be intrigued to see where she goes from here
