Hi there! It's been a while!
          
          I decided to take a short break while I wait for the results of the awards I entered. I wanted some feedback before getting back to writing. Every writer has doubts, right? Is the pace too slow? Am I just filling empty space? Does this chapter actually have a purpose?
          
          I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, so I'm going to take things slowly from now on. After all, I write to spread my wings, express myself, and have fun.

          I just came across an award that feels like the perfect fit for ROYAL BONES, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be submitting it to the Emotional section of the Thriller Awards hosted by @GreyyWhispersSup.
          
          This story means a lot to me, so taking this step feels both thrilling and a little nerve-wracking. Thank you to everyone who has supported ROYAL BONES so far — I truly appreciate it. I’ve been submitting to a few awards in hopes of receiving honest feedback and helping my story reach the right audience — those who enjoy emotional, traumatic yet heroic journeys.

Hi hi!
          I’ve finally wrapped up the dwarven arc and started the elven one! I hope you’ve been enjoying the story so far. I have something just as big planned for the elves as I did for the dwarves, so I’m really excited to hear your thoughts!
          
          As for the 30DC, I was hoping to reach a higher word count by now, but I’m really happy that this challenge helped me complete the first arc of the story. With 16,671 words, I think that earns me gold! ^^
          
          For those who noticed and are wondering: I did change the cover and subtitle of ROYAL BONES. I’m considering splitting it into Book 1 and Book 2. I’ve received much better feedback on the potential cover for the second book, but nothing is set in stone yet. 
          For those who liked the first cover — stick with Valerie to see the one that comes next!
