@M3owNow I never really thought of it, but yeah, yandere's can be platonic. Even though it's rare. The whole point of a yandere is for a person to be obsessed with that person romantically. According to Google, a yandere is sweet, caring, and innocent before switching into someone who displays an extreme, often violent or psychotic, level of devotion to a love interest. but yes, even though it's very rare, a yandere can be platonic.
