Looking around me, I notice the same patterns
That repeat themselves every day
Like the rays of the sun.
All that we acknowledge of it is the light.
What about the wavelengths our eyes can't see?
What if those rays of my every day humans make them more special than me?
Come and tell me "I've never met someone like you before"
I'll be trying to control myself from smiling a little more.
After too many such twenty seconds, I find myself trying to smile a little more.

It is the unfamiliar look about me that awakens general curiosity.
You have just been socially forward enough to come and talk to me.
Your hidden rays were easy for me to read
I had not the need to question "Where do you belong?"
And that left me plenty time to take the lead.
Have you come as far as I have?
Will you ever?
Will you take the time to explore the wavelengths that are not visible?
Or is it that there is nothing more to see
After you pass the light that drew you to me.
