I am a fifty four year old teacher of English who has begun writing recently. I live in Cork in the Republic of Ireland and have two adult children and a miniature Yorkshire terrier called Meg. I'm concentrating at the moment on the short story and particularly like stories set in particular historical periods - Ireland's fight for independence (1914- 1922) and the World War 2 period in particular.
