I am a full-time college instructor living in Arkansas. I teach courses including Introduction to Teaching, Exceptional Students, Child Growth and Educational Technology. 

From 2009-2018, I worked as a certified teacher in the Arkansas public school system - instructing various courses including language arts, history, creative writing, and science. 

I hold two master's degrees in education. In 2014, I received a master's degree in excellence in teaching from Harding University. In 2018, I received a master's of science degree in educational building leadership from Arkansas State University. 

Before my career in education, I studied and worked in both journalism and public relations. In 2004, I graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a bachelor's degree in English and creative writing. 

I have also owned and operated Indigo Cottage Studio since 2007.
