            I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this. The best way to handle it is to report the account directly to the Trust and Safety team, as they are the only ones who can review and take action on user behavior or content.
            
            You can report the user by visiting their profile, selecting the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner, and choosing “Report”. From there, select the reason that best matches the issue you’re facing (such as harassment or hate speech).
            
            include as many details as possible in your report (such as usernames, story titles, or examples of messages). The team will review everything carefully, even without screenshots.
            
            Please note that Ambassadors and other users cannot delete accounts or stories, so your report to Trust and Safety is the correct and only way to resolve this.

Wattpad doesn’t delete accounts or stories based on the number of reports — what matters is the type of violation and proof provided in the report. The Trust & Safety team reviews each report carefully, and if they confirm that the account broke Wattpad’s Community Guidelines, they’ll take action (which could mean a warning, content removal, or permanent account suspension).
            
            To report the user properly:

            If you’re asking about the orange circle with a white checkmark, that’s the verification badge. Currently, Wattpad only gives it to certain accounts and it is not open to the public, so regular users cannot get it themselves.
            
            If you’re asking about the Ambassador badge (orange circle with a heart), that shows that the person is a Wattpad Ambassador, a volunteer who helps the community. You can learn more about Ambassadors here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/99230877
            
            So for now, regular users cannot add a badge next to their names.
