Imani was in Europe with Peter and her class that went along on the trip aswell. It was good for her and Peter, they both need a break from what happened on the earth battle from coming back from the snap.
But things changed when they were in Europe. Imani had her shoes that had her suit in it just in case but she wasn't going to worry about it really.
When the water monster came and then when beck came to save the day she didn't trust it at all. It didnt make sense what so ever. Because after a few hours everything was perfectly fine . Nothing was destroyed.
Imani went with Peter when nick Fury came and she got to meet beck. She instantly didnt trust him. Not a single bit.

quentin beck was careful around imani when he explained to them about to elements . he got a vibe from her that she didn’t trust him and was suspicious and he needed to make sure that she wasn’t , because he needs his plan to work .
every now and then , as the man of mystery explained how they could " take down the elements " he’s sneak a quick glance at her , in hopes she’d just fall for his tricks . peter , on the other hand , was easy to fool , which he questioned because shouldn’t spider - man sense it ? whatever , he hoped that wouldn’t happen either . and he was even more shocked when mister - know - it - all nick fury and agent maria hill fell for his lies . maybe this was going to work out , but if imani tried to stop him , he was planning to eliminate her , and boom , problem solved .
