Hazel Bergara never set out to hurt anyone. But when strange headaches start racking his brains, and hunger cramps begin to strike at the strangest of times, he starts to change his stance on murder.
          
          At least, that's what the Association of Vampire Control believes happened. They don't blame him. They just want to lock him up. He's a danger to society. He'd be well looked after. Not like out here, in the big bad world, where hate crime rates against vampires are soaring. Once he finds out that he doesn't have a choice, they've already shipped him off to prison. They keep him under lock and key. And he begs to get out every day. They don't listen. He's innocent. He didn't kill Aoibhe Lewis. He knows he didn't kill Aoibhe Lewis. The hunters are determined to convince him otherwise. Needless to say, he doesn't appreciate it.
