@pjm_mly13 hello! Yes I have every intention on finishing Mixed Blood and am actively working on it. Unfortunately I've been struggling with my mental and physical health the last 1-1.5 years, so I haven't been able to give it my full attention. I am on the upswing, though, and I hope to start posting chapters again soon, even if its on a slower schedule. But I don't want to promise any dates in case I'm not able to follow through. Thanks so much for checking in and I'm so glad you are enjoying my work!

@MC_Matthews People always under estimate this surgery. But I didn't want to scare you. Mine took 9 hours at the time, bc there was a lot more wrong. But I know from several others who had a "simple" surgery and totally underestimated the recovery time. I hope things get better fast for you. And that not just physically but also mentally things will look for you soon!❤️❤️❤️ And if you do start feeling even more off, know it could also be due to hormones bc no one tells you how much they get messed up too after the surgery

Back again with another "I'm still alive" update.
I'm still alive!!

I am taking a short leave of absence from work at the end of August for a long-awaited surgery, and will only be returning to 4 days a week due to the continued decline of my mental and physical health.
This has seriously effected my ability to write on a consistent basis, which I know has led to a bit of a disjointed feeling to Mixed Blood in the last few chapters. The LOA and reduced schedule should afford me the time and head space to get back into this series that I've poured years of my passion into.
I hope to be back soon with a chapter dump to make up for the silence. Thank you all so much for your support through this crazy adventure!!

@MC_Matthews I feel you girl, mine always caused issues due to Endometriosis so I had mine taken out but sadly it didn't change much besides the bleeding. I hope everything goes fine for you!!! Health comes first And I really hope you can come to rest more with reduced hours❤️

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive!
No updates on stories, unfortunately. I thought 2025 was going to be better than 2024. Nope. It's worse.
I'm trying to get a bunch of Mixed Blood chapters together and start posting again in another month or two, but I'm not going to make anymore promises. I want to finish this series so badly, and I'm deeply sorry that it's taken so long.
For those waiting for The Paralegal... it's probably not happening anymore. Or, if it is, not for a long while. I don't usually let the politics of another country affect what and how I write... but in this case...
Let's just say that the plot of a very significant arc was based off a scenario that I thought possible, however unlikely, but only in the darkest corners of the USA. But that scenario has now become a dangerous reality. Worse yet, these illegal actions are being defended and celebrated by many people on and off the internet. Simply put, I am no longer comfortable addressing the scenario in a fictional manner.
If I continue with The Paralegal, I will need to completely rewrite about 30% of the entire story. It's possible, but I may also just put it on the shelf and move onto something new.
Anyway, I just wanted to check in with you all, and say hi to my many new followers and readers. Thank you all for your support. I'll try to get some more content out soon!
