@pjm_mly13 hello! Yes I have every intention on finishing Mixed Blood and am actively working on it. Unfortunately I've been struggling with my mental and physical health the last 1-1.5 years, so I haven't been able to give it my full attention. I am on the upswing, though, and I hope to start posting chapters again soon, even if its on a slower schedule. But I don't want to promise any dates in case I'm not able to follow through. Thanks so much for checking in and I'm so glad you are enjoying my work!

@MC_Matthews People always under estimate this surgery. But I didn't want to scare you. Mine took 9 hours at the time, bc there was a lot more wrong. But I know from several others who had a "simple" surgery and totally underestimated the recovery time. I hope things get better fast for you. And that not just physically but also mentally things will look for you soon!❤️❤️❤️ And if you do start feeling even more off, know it could also be due to hormones bc no one tells you how much they get messed up too after the surgery
@Jackie-Blue Hey girl! Surgery went well. Definitely took a lot more out of me than I was expecting, so recovery has been pretty draining. But so far so good, and it looks like I'm on the mend physically. Thanks for checking in ❤️❤️❤️

Back again with another "I'm still alive" update.
I'm still alive!!

I am taking a short leave of absence from work at the end of August for a long-awaited surgery, and will only be returning to 4 days a week due to the continued decline of my mental and physical health.
This has seriously effected my ability to write on a consistent basis, which I know has led to a bit of a disjointed feeling to Mixed Blood in the last few chapters. The LOA and reduced schedule should afford me the time and head space to get back into this series that I've poured years of my passion into.
I hope to be back soon with a chapter dump to make up for the silence. Thank you all so much for your support through this crazy adventure!!

I feel that my job is stressing me out I just wish I could rush through college so I can go into the field I actually want to be in♀️
@MC_Matthews I feel you girl, mine always caused issues due to Endometriosis so I had mine taken out but sadly it didn't change much besides the bleeding. I hope everything goes fine for you!!! Health comes first And I really hope you can come to rest more with reduced hours❤️
