Hey my darlings,
I’m working on new chapters for all of my books, especially Price of Desire, because apparently that one has decided to be the favourite right now and I am very aware of it.
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as quickly as I normally do. Writer’s block has been bullying me a little, and with UNI keeping me busy over the next few months, updates might be a bit all over the place.
Thank you so much for being patient with me and for still being here, reading, supporting, and loving these books. It really means so much to me, and I hope you’re all still enjoying them.

A lot has been going on behind the scenes, and I didn’t want to promise dates I couldn’t keep. But the good news is: I’m also putting together a book tracker for you all, so nobody gets confused with how many books are in the series (because… yeah, there are a lot ).

@Tinaw82, I really think Jian and Gui Lan are strong additions to the story. Their chapters bring a lot of atmosphere, tension, and depth, and they make a strong impression as readers move through the book. The only thing I would keep an eye on is balance, because their scenes are so intense and memorable that they naturally draw a lot of attention. They are not overtaking the story yet, but I do think it would help to be mindful of how much page time they get, just to make sure they continue enhancing the main plot without pulling too much focus away from it.

@Tinaw82, You did a great job making the story feel atmospheric and interesting. The setting stands out, and the relationship between Meiyu and Xu Ren is one of the best parts. Meiyu feels smart, capable, and easy to root for, which makes the story even more engaging. The main thing to improve is the pacing. In some places, the emotional reactions and inner thoughts feel repetitive, so the story slows down more than necessary. Some scenes could be tightened by cutting repeated feelings and moving to the next important moment faster. Each scene should clearly add something new, whether a clue in the mystery, a shift in trust, or new tension in their relationship. The chemistry could grow if there were more moments of conflict, pressure, or emotional vulnerability, so it does not rely only on quiet attraction and flustered reactions. Adding more variety in how they connect would make their relationship feel deeper and more memorable. Overall, though, the story already has many strong points. The atmosphere, the slow-burning tension, and the mystery are all working well, and it definitely feels like a story with a lot of potential. ❤️
