I just wanna let everyone know...this used to be my account, and, to say the least, I am very ashamed of most of the content I put up here. Especially The Asylum. Not only does it glorify mental illness (which I suffer from today), it also includes a rape scene. I don't mind reading my old stories if the only thing I have to be ashamed of is bad writing, but when it comes to rape scenes...it just makes me feel so bad. And the fact I didn't even put a trigger warning...Christ. If anyone reads this who has put or is planning to put a rape scene in their book, please, please think very carefully about it. If it isn't important to the plot, then why is it in the book? And if it is important, why do you need to go into graphic detail? If you must, MUST mention rape, I advise you, put a trigger warning beforehand. You never know if a victim is reading one of your stories. They could be reading it to have a nice time, to cheer them up, who knows. Please don't ruin it for them. Take it from someone who used to do this: Don't glorify someone else's struggle. Evem if it's just a story. There are real people going through these things, and I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate a 13 year old on the internet making it look beautiful, making other 13 year olds feel like they want to be ill. And take it fro, your future self as well. I used to be you. Take a look at my stories and you'll see. I had 3k reads on a story that glorified abuse and statuatory rape of a 16/17 year old boy. Please, kids, please don't do that. You'll regret it. Trust me.

          Sincerely,
          MJFFSNAILE
