@tapedfingertips sad part is, I wanna be a published author, and I’m gonna have to try to adhere to 4 to 5k words max, which is damn near IMPOSSIBLEEEE for me to so. Like these 10 thousand word chapters are not cutting it! ☠️☠️

I think the problem with a lot of authors is that they don’t want people to like or dislike certain characters. In addition to that, they hate when people make predications about their books and be right (I’ve seen it with my own two eyes).
          
          Like, y’all DO realize that’s the point of this app right? To comment your thoughts on a book… Let the girls assume, right or wrong. Let the girls resonate, or not, with certain characters.

Very true. I be so tickled when authors write whole dissertations beneath a reader’s opinion because their perspective is different than the author’s. Like sis, let them read in peace. Even if they’re wrong, leave them alone.
            
            About 3 years ago, I did get mad about something in BTW my readers were commenting. I can’t tell you what it was. That’s how you know it was petty lol. I had to step back like “sis, you tripping.” Never again. I love to see the variety of opinions and predictions in my books. It makes everything so much more colorful.

I hate a character without flaws, man. Not saying they gotta be some fucked up individual, but damn this mf is just perfect? A flaw, big or small, adds soooo much to your stories, y’all! And it set the stage for more ideas when you’re not sure about what to write next
