Hi, I'm excited to start writing some stuff for Wattpad!   My interest right now is in the big story, the epic narrative that takes place on a large stage with many players and forces at play.   I also love including the smaller moments with characters who are recognizably human (if they are human) and very fallible.
I'm a scientist by training who works in the computer field, and I grew up on a diet of the classic old masters like Heinlein, Clarke, Asimov, and Sturgeon, transitioning into Benford, Bear, and Brin in the nineties.   Recently I've been digging the epic N.K. Jemisin "Broken Earth" trilogy which is fantastic and has a lot of the elements I love in science-fantasy novels.
My current work "The Shores of a Dream" is aiming for a balance between the cosmic questions of existence and purpose and the local interactions and meaning we look for with our friends and lovers.    First two chapters are up, third chapter coming Mon. Feb. 19th!
