The first chapter is out! Let me know what you think <3

Today, I want to take the time to introduce my next story:

I took a completely different approach while writing this one. Normally, I come up with a plot first and let the characters find their place in it. This time, I started with Freya.

Freya Davis is a girl who's spent her whole life answering one question the same way.

          "How are you feeling?"

          "I don't know."

This story isn't really about having all the answers. It's about what happens when you spend your life trying to understand yourself after the moment has already passed. It's about family, friendship, growing up, and all the little things that shape you before you even realize they're doing it.

I really hope you'll take a chance on Freya the same way I did.

Chapter One comes out Friday. I can't wait for you all to meet her.

Quick Update!

Starting tomorrow, I will begin writing my next story. A story that hits so close to home, it might take me a while to figuring the best way to share this experience.

Updates on Transience will become slightly less frequent but will definitely not be overlooked.

The next topic I want to discuss will be very emotional and I ask that any one who reads it shares it with someone who needs to read it. And I hope that it serves as something that helps you open up in the same way that it helped me.

Enough of the rant lol. The next chapter of Transience will be up tomorrow and honestly it’s a pretty good one. Thank you!! <3

Hey, it's MJade here!

I've spent years trying to write original stories, but I was never really able to finish one because I couldn't feel anything while writing them. They just didn't connect with me in the way I needed them to. As a new writer, I've realized that writing something relatable makes such a huge difference in the process.

This story has been different. It's loosely based on me, and because of that, Mel has become a character so dear to me. She feels like a part of me coming to the public, which is both exciting and a little scary in the best way. I've been spending almost every day writing it lately, and I don't think I've ever been this attached to a project before. It's been really cool watching the world slowly grow chapter by chapter. There are so many little details, conversations, and moments that I've been excited to write, and we're finally getting to the point where everything starts paying off.

One thing I've realized while writing is that I still have a lot to learn. Every chapter teaches me something new, so if you ever have feedback, advice, or even just a favorite moment, I'd honestly love to hear it.

I know there aren't many chapters out right now, but trust me, there's a lot scheduled to publish in the next few days. Thank you to anyone who's been reading so far. It genuinely means more to me than I can put into words.
