Alright, I know everyone’s announcing it, but it’s gonna be 2022 for me in about an hour and a half. Before I go off and spend some time with my family playing games and hanging out, I just wanted to thank you all for a wonderful year on Wattpad.
Thank you. Thank you, thank you to everyone who has supported me, my endeavors, and my writing. It means so much to have gotten so far, to have 365 people that thought I was worth following. 365. It’s so surreal to have come so far in little over three years, having so many people reading and commenting on my books and supporting me through my journey of self-discovery and writing improvement.
It feels like it’s been a week since I joined, met so many amazing people, became part of an amazing community here on Wattpad, and been able to improve and fully enjoy sharing my writing. I’ve gained so many lifelong friends, met so many amazing people, and have honestly found a place that I feel like I will always belong. That is something that is irreplaceable, and I thank you so very much for even allowing me to experience the feeling of simply belonging, of having a place in a community that’s so intelligent and wonderful, creative and kind, and all things more.
While life in general has been very hectic, I thank you, once again, for sticking around and just being here for the ride this year. With everyone here on Wattpad, we’ve made a difficult time so much better and more fun, honing creativity and togetherness to shine a light into dark times. Everyone together has made this year infinitely better for me and I hope that it’s done the same for you, whether a large part or at least in some small way.
Finally, as I’m preparing to celebrate the new year, I want to just say that I love and appreciate you guys beyond belief. Without your love and support, I wouldn’t have been able to come so far and meet the wonderful community I have. Here’s to a wonderful 2021, and better 2022.
