            As Ash is a anime only with a game appearance like Masters 
            
            And card effects is the Yugioh cards, not Pokemon one

@MLPFan001 I knew that Death Battle would use the movie for Ash because they want Ash and his pokemon to be a "Good Power Level" but never I would know that they would also take the manga, the cards and the game Pokemon it's incredible.

@MLPFan001 A part of me is hoping that they do what they did for the Tournament of Champions and that even if the other contestants lose, they'll still get an episode next year like how Kratos Vs Asura happened despite losing to Wile Vs Tom.

@Captain_Valkyrie idk. Base on what was said. BOTH sides have REALLY good arguments on winning even without the SMT scaling. The fact it ended a 7-8 vote shows how very close this ended up being.
            
            So it really does come down to whose argument are more believable. Still rooting for Dante, but won’t be surprised if Clive does win

            Whoever wins champions island gets a guaranteed episode for next year. If he was a planned then he wouldn’t be one of the contenders on champions island 

@MLPFan001 if Flowey is safe, am I safe to assume Death Battle probably planned next years episodes to have him pit against The Princess from Slay the Princess?

            Meta Knight just there as a shield because like week 1 he barely got any votes. So he is just chilling and has nothing to worry about 

@Emeraldspine117 16 out of the 32 submissions made it to the main stage and separate on 2 teams. 8 on Team Wiz and 8 on Team Boomstick 
            
            And people on those teams compete in challenges. And losing team loses 2 people each week. 
            
            Team Wiz lose week 1 and lose Constantine and Steve. 
            
            At the end of it all 1 person will win and they get a guarantee Death Battle episode next year

@Daddy-Mikasa remember we got 2 episodes in  March and the other months we got 1 episode in that month 

@Daddy-Mikasa so once Ash Yugi comes that will be the final episode of 2025/finale episode of the year

@Daddy-Mikasa I said that because if we DID consider it as a 16 episode thing it’ll be the best season if we did combine 24/25. And I only said that because I wanna judge it that way so others will know WHICH kickstarter episode I like overall 
            
            As for the 12 episodes. We DID get 12 episodes this year in 2025 starting at Kratos Vs Asura up to Dante Clive. That’s 11 episodes in total along with December makes it 12
            
            Meaning 2026 will have GruMind and Aang Traviler which is 2 out of the 12
            
            And they mentioned the bonus episode will NOT take up a slot. So it’ll be like a .5 episode like the other bonus episodes
