OUTCAST-SUMMER

⌨ ➛ STARTER.

vea started to feel the nervousness she tried to erase as the cold breeze touches her skin, “sighs where could it be...” she whispered onto herself. dawn it is, and she's finding her necklace that happened to be misplaced or maybe, she lost it. she already went far but she doesn't mind getting lost as long as she finds it. the cross necklace is very important to her, she has been with it ever since she's a kid. and a bunch of memories hold in it. losing it is like losing her life.

some might be sleeping by this time and probably resting after a tiring day they dealed with but vea is still wide awake in the midst of the dawn. “how could i be this stupid?” she murmured. she's holding her phone in her right hand as her left hand rest inside her hoodie pocket. while walking, she suddenly heard a sound of stomping. vea stopped right in her track and listened to the unknown sound diligently. it is a sound of a pair of feet walking in the grounds, “w-who is that?” she asked on a quite low voice. she turned around and found you walking while chewing something, “excuse me?” she asked once again, you just looked at vea attentively as she started to whisper, “i'm sorry to disturb you. who are you and what are you doing right now at the dawn?”

MULE-KARINA

It had always been Karina and her ghost 'friends' in her sacred hideoutㅡ the cave located right through the heart of the forest that exuded an eerie aura. That wasn't a problem for the mademoiselle thoughㅡ she was a sucker for anything queer. Rumor has it that the forest was full of lonesome ghosts who lost their lives fighting for Muleㅡ and that whoever crosses the forest would probably be cursed by some witch, but Karina had known better. She may or may not be the witch people were buzzing about, but who cares? The ghost part was, in a matter of fact, very true. Those souls were her friends, her only company. But the curse? How ludicrous. Karina could only laugh at the dim-witted Murians who believed in it.

Thankfully, the so-called rumor was the reason why there were no living Murians who visited the forest and her cave. The cave was just a mere hideout and not her abode, but it felt more like home with all the ghosts surrounding her. She even took the honors of designing the cave into her liking (surprisingly, the cave wasn't very difficult to play with)ㅡ she had placed her voodoo doll collection by the dented part of the cave's walls, her crystal ball carefully sitting on a huge boulder, and she also had a lush red velvet sofa that she had a hard time transferring just so she could be more comfortable (boulders were hard to sit on, no pun intended). Of course she also had lights; fairy lights adorned the walls of the cave, providing her dim lighting just like how she wanted.

(  ♡  )  ㅡ  CONTINUATION.

Her eyes were shut tight as she fiddled with her crystal ball, trying to come up with riveting prophecies. However, one of her ghost friends soon interrupted her prediction session, repeatedly tapping her shoulder, "Jesus Christ, Yvette, what was that for?" Karina turned around to face the spirit, rolling her eyes at what just happened. "Can you stop interrupting me for once? It's very frustrating!" Yvette, the ghost, didn't give a damn though. She replied, "I can sense a living Murian by the mouth of the cave, Karina. Look through your crystal ball. Your silly auguries can wait."

Karina didn't want to argue anymore, but she hissed at Yvette calling her foretellings silly. Fidgeting with her crystal ball, she caught a glimpse of a stranger with a flashlight, scanning through the cave. Through gritted teeth, the mademoiselle bid goodbye to the ghost and grabbed her flashlight, walking her way to the Murian who visited her sacred place.

Out of her coping mechanism, Karina squinted as a blinding ray of light shone on her face. Trying to make out the face of the stranger, she decides to face her flashlight to another direction, "Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my hideout?" she questioned the stranger grumpily, her eyebrows furrowed. "The rumors aren't true. There's no witch here to curse you. It's just me, a mage, who hides in here. There's a lot of ghosts here thoughㅡ they're my, uh, friends." Karina stated sheepishly, her facial features softening out of the blue. "I can help you get out of here, if you want... or you can take a look at my hideout, it's just a five minute walk from here."

( ♡ ) ㅡ hi there! i apologize for the lengthy starter. feel free to reply in any length you like and i would reply the same way after. things are about to get weird with karina so sorry about that in advance. : )

The cold morning breeze embraced her whole figure as she went outside the cafe after she bought a hot coffee that's perfect for the cool weather and killed some time inside. She dumped the large sized cup in the trash bin nearby and insert her both hands inside her jacket's pockets to warm it. It's only 5:42 AM in the morning but Cassia is already up. The Valkyries' assigned her to welcomed the new Murians and give them some offering as a honor of their presence here. She's in the middle of her walk when she got a glimpse of an unfamiliar body built, then the plan she thought suddenly crossed her mind that made her lips formed a creepy grin. She silently hurtles the Murian whereabouts who's currently beside a tree whilst taking a nap. Without making any noise, she took out the melted chocolate inside her bag and gently smear it in the sleeping lass/lad's face so he/she wouldn't wake up. She tried to prevent herself from laughing so hard when she saw the young lady/man's face. "Fuck. This is so funny." She murmured while chortling at herself. She's about to apply some more when the Murian moved and seems to be about to awake. She immediately stood up and climbed at the tree to hide. Also, to see the lass/lad's reaction.

ZVERSE-ZOE

Zoe was roaming around the forest and don't know where she's heading to, finding someone she can ask "this place is beautiful" she said while walking "but creepy at the same time" she added and started to saw other murians but shy to approached them because of the new faces of those people. She saw a swing and seated for her to rest for a while "i'm friendly and noisy but i don't know how to start" she pouted while thinking about it.

OUTCAST-NATSUMI

"I need to change quick!" Shine muttered, her voice changing from monotone to bright and soft one. You were walking on the streets when you heard a voice that somehow sends shivers into your spine, you stopped from your tracks as your eyebrows creased on how quickly the voice changed.

Peeking at the dark alley, where Shine was currently hiding. You saw her facing back and seems to be so busy with her own business. Her eyes widened in shock when both of your eyes met. "You didn't see anything right?!" She asked, slightly moving backwards, afraid that you actually saw her earlier.

Thana roamed around the woods, whispering her prayers for the restless souls. She prayed and prayed for them to finally find the rightful forgiveness. The woods needs to stay quiet, especially now that they have new people ; and those people is strong but also fragile, still... not... good enough. That's why her sisters and thana are here, to help them and guide those confuse and innocent beings.

She walked her way back to the town, following the path she is used to now, after coming here plenty of times before. She sometimes hear those vengeful spirits, and she often symphatize over them. No, not scared. She had experienced the battlefield... and those comrades dying just right beside her, she's used to losing almost anything.

But come to think of it ; after those new murians came, the eerily quiet place seemed to have much more lighter feeling now... and that, is the only thing she is not prepared for to lose. Her thoughts escaped her mind when she sees a figure  walking just before the entrance to the woods. She rarely approach other murians, simply because she doesn't want to get too attached. Being attached means being vulnerable and welcoming pain when it's clearly not a time for that. People die and go, and that's just life.

"You," thana whispered but clear and loud enough to catch the person's attention, "You shouldn't be here." The curious stranger took in thana's feature whilst the lady observed you.

The sound of clacking keys echoed through the mostly empty coffee shop. I felt so proud and productive, but suddenly I stopped and stared blankly at my screen. It had been weeks since I wrote anything and I couldn’t even get further than three sentences without hitting a block. I thought about my writing for a moment while the waitress placed my super low-fatsugar-replacement chocolate-cream muffin bun, with raspberry jamand choc-mint sauce, on the table. I retracted my hands and looked around the little café as I took a break to eat. The café was decorated with coffee paintings and cup lampshades. It was one of those places that you wouldn’t quite feel mature enough to be in if you were under 21, and that you would feel too old to be in if you were over 22. The place had an atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I scanned my eyes over the rest of the store. A small water feature adorned the opposite corner to me; a rather lushlooking red velvet couch sat before it. Every time I visited I wondered why they would have put such a nice couch in front of a water feature. Clearly, the staff weren’t as concerned about mould growth as I was. I heard the bells on the front door jingle as,what I assumed to be, another depressed artist stumbled in. I paid them no attention, sure that they would distract me from my writing. I took a sip of my coffee-tea and stared at the words on my screen. I was absolutely, one-hundred-and-ten-percent focused on it, until I heard the most heavenly voice from the counter.
“I’ll have a raspberry-sundae-shake,thanks.” His/her voice sounded as if God himself had fallen from the heavens and landed in my favourite coffee house.

To top things off, he/she seated himself on the rich red velvet couch I had been admiring just seconds earlier. The image of him/her sitting there was awe inspiring, as if a heavenly light shone down upon him/her. I groped at my laptop and started writing a fresh.
After striking out several fantastic, over the top wonderful sentences, I went to take a triumphant sip of my latte-chai while thinking of how to continue what was sure to be my next masterpiece. However, to my horror, the drink had gone cold. Truly shaken by this, I looked over to the red couch. I was mortified to not only discover that the lad/lass had since left the café, but to witness a couple now desecrating the sacred corner in which he/she once sat.
