I am a Palestinian Writer, Author, Poet, and Senior Midwife  with 24 years of experience. My work is deeply rooted in themes of empowerment, resilience, and heritage, drawing inspiration from my extensive career in midwifery, my rich personal history, and the enduring strength of the Palestinian people.

As an author, I am working on Cradle of Empowerment: The Legacy of Palestinian Midwives, a groundbreaking book that sheds light on the vital role of Palestinian midwives throughout history, particularly in the Mediterranean and Gulf regions. My writing blends historical research, personal narratives, and social commentary, making it both a tribute to midwifery and a testament to the resilience of women in healthcare.

My poetic voice is equally powerful, with أوراق زيتونة (Olive Leaves) serving as a collection of poetry and prose that reflects on identity, struggle, and hope. I also have a passion for children's literature, demonstrated in مغامرات الروميساء (The Adventures of Rumaysaa), a collection of engaging and meaningful stories for young readers.

Beyond literature, my expertise in healthcare extends into academia, as I hold a master's degree in healthcare management and am currently pursuing a funded master's in information technology, with a keen interest in health informatics. My research on electronic documentation and patient safety reflects my dedication to improving healthcare systems.

A storyteller at heart, I weave personal experiences into my work, from my difficult journey out of besieged Gaza in 2007 to my reflections on the legacy of British nursing education in Palestine. I am also a passionate advocate for justice, launching campaigns for prisoners' rights and using my platform to raise awareness about Palestinian struggles.

My writing is a fusion of intellect, passion, and lived experience, making me a unique voice in literature, healthcare, and advocacy.
