Did some slight housecleaning today, as I deleted WHEN THE GODS CALLED HER NAME because I just didn't click with the story. I also unpublished THE ALPHA QUEEN'S HANDMAIDEN, ACCIDENTAL ALPHA, SILVER SPIRIT INN, FIRE BOUND, A STAR AT THE HEART OF THE WORLD, and BURIED SCALES. 
          
          I'll revisit these later, but for now, I want to focus on BRIGHTWOOD ACADEMY and its sequel, STRANDED. These two novels were written a long time ago and only need editing before being published, which is why I'm prioritizing them.
          
          Speaking of BRIGHTWOOD ACADEMY, its conclusion is approaching soon and will be submitted to the Ambys, along with A FLAME UPON STILL WATER.
          
          Also, big congratulations to the ONC 2026 winners!

Welcome to BRIGHTWOOD ACADEMY, a school for witches, wizards, shapeshifters, elves, and hybrids! This novel, set in the same world as STREAMFIELD SHIFTERS and my vampire books, follows young Thyra Solberg as she comes to terms with being an elf-shapeshifter hybrid. 
          
          Those of you who have read my first vampire novel, THE VAMPIRE'S PASTRY CHEF, might notice a familiar face among the pages. It also contains several spoilers for the main Streamfield Shifters universe, but I couldn't help myself. Once I get an idea in my head, it's hard to shake. Prior knowledge of those other novels isn't necessary, but recommended for the full experience.
          
          I will say that this was originally written way back in 2019, and its sequel is complete. They just need editing to bring everything up to current lore.
