Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Just wasn't feeling particularly motivated this month. Will be starting up a Nano-esque project Nov 1 over on the Dreamland Community's DANM Discord, so expect to see me posting regularly then.

Firstly, I want to congratulate everyone who made it to the Wattys Shortlist this year. Sadly, A FLAME UPON STILL WATER did not make it through, but I'm still very proud of the story.
          
          Secondly, I've been behind in posting chapters for its sequel, A STAR AT THE HEART OF THE WORLD. I've had relatively low energy for the last couple of weeks, so I do apologize for that. Hoping to get back up to speed. :)

Thrilled to announce the sequel to A FLAME UPON STILL WATER is out! Welcome to A STAR AT THE HEART OF THE WORLD. :) (Can you tell that I have a theme going with long titles?)
          
          This story picks up six years after the first novel and follows Siah's middle brother, Amos, as he navigates his final year of high school in the demon kingdom of Chthonia. We also meet Delwyn, a human running from an arranged marriage. 
          
          You know how the story goes... an angel meets a human, the human agrees to tutor the angel in math, the angel and the human fall in love, and the human's past catches up with her.
          
          And don't worry, Siah and Kion show up!

Completed my revisions for A FLAME UPON STILL WATER and marked it complete. I apologize for the pile of notifications you may have received as I fixed all the chapter titles. Just need to take a quick break before working on the summary and then I'll submit it.

How all is well
          Just wanted to know the update concerning the accidental alpha 

Currently working on adding more chapters for context and fixing some plot points in A FLAME UPON STILL WATER for the Wattys/Ambys -- as I'm sure you've noticed with all the .2 chapters popping up. I'll be changing those later.
          
          Anyone else prepping/entered? I'd love to cheer you on!

I love City of Dust! Will there be an update soon or maybe a sequel?
