My favourite thing about the story overall is the fact that the characters get to discover themselves along the way and figure their lives out— Iris dumping the prick-of-a-fiancé and Evan learning to get away from Helen’s manipulation (which is also abuse btw). Like they both stayed strong and held onto the daydreams and fantasies of the other person without even knowing them entirely!

I was  this close to smashing my phone when I realized that Evan got hit by a car. Like I am not even kidding. I was stuck inside my car, on a rainy evening, waiting for my dad to pick up the groceries when I read that chapter, and I kid you not, I was so exhilarated and scared!
