@anakinbridger541 Wow, you're really living the life right now. My bf wants to be a musician so I'm getting a little taste of the struggle right now lol. But teaching sounds great too so I hope They get themselves in order too.

@MaccasWeirdFriend yeah, absolutely! I've already been playing some paying shows, including a wedding last week, and a big one in LA coming up! Plus I've been teaching it for a few years now. Now if the music department can just get its classes in order,  I'll be set. 
            
            And don't stress! There's a college for everyone.

            I'm certainly hoping so too, but since she's a Christian (I am too, honestly), I'm thinking there's not much of a chance for it. But I'm really, just really thankful for you and everyone on here. You've all been sweet and accepting and I couldn't thank any of you enough.

@MaccasWeirdFriend So sorry to hear about your mom's reaction to finding out about this.  Hopefully, with time, she'll come to accept you for who you are, even if she doesn't fully understand it.  A parent's love is, almost always, more powerful than mere prejudice and hatred.
            
            Regardless of when and whether she comes around, though, you should know that you are wonderful, and we - your friends, your followers, your readers - love you and have got your back every step of the way :0)
