@MadLad404 meaning he knew about the potions and also got killed by them. And yk when tommy killed Dream in the cell and dream fell out of that hole into the water when he respawned? That’s the same hole with the dropper. So what if Dream clicked the dropper while he was falling and collected the potions? And when Sam visits dream to give him the new clock Dream can kill sam cause potions do a shit ton of damage even with netherite armor. Then dream would get weapons, armor, and most importantly- sams keycard.

@MadLad404 I think he might, did you see sapnaps stream when he visited dream? Dream refused to talk and communicated with him through a book. Then he asked sapnap to send a message to ranboo, which was just a smiley face. Sapnap agreed cause it seemed harmless- then he asked sapnap to tell Sam he needed a new clock. But here’s the thing- sapnap left the cell by standing in a corner and having a dropper splash harming potions on him. For some reason Dream also stood there with him.
