I just finished reading Haven and I must say, you truly have a talent for writing. I love how poetic the words were written. Thank you for such a great story! 

I loved him like a secret flame,
          burning in the quiet, soft and low.
          He never looked my way for long,
          but I stayed... too afraid to go.
          
          He spoke in glass and silence,
          a mind too sharp to hold.
          I traced the cracks he hid beneath-
          in dreams I wasn't told.
          
          He called her name behind his eyes,
          a ghost I couldn't chase.
          And though I smiled, he never saw
          the ache behind my face.
          
          I gave him warmth he never asked,
          and words I'll never say-
          because I was the girl beside the girl
          he wanted every day.
          
          Still, if he reached, I would've gone,
          into the dark, the flames, the storm.
          To be the shadow of his love...
          To be the place he kept warm.
